JOHN C. ULRICH, P.E.

As a principal, Mr. Ulrich is responsible for managing all of the engineering functions and designs contracted by the firm. He is also responsible for, along with his partner, the managing of the day to day business affairs of the firm.

Mr. Ulrich's 37 years of experience include managing, supervising, and performing structural designs for numerous commercial and industrial facilities which entail office - warehouse complexes, shopping centers, banks, supermarkets, office buildings, and manufacturing facilities.

Mr. Ulrich has also had the opportunity to manage the actual construction of projects. These duties encompassed the preparation of detailed preliminary estimates for budgeting, bidding, cost analysis, preparation of construction schedules, coordination of subcontractors and field construction, site observations, and final review of the construction project. The construction projects, which Mr. Ulrich has managed, include theaters, shopping centers, office buildings, warehouses, and the renovation of existing facilities.

With the background of developing construction documents and managing actual construction, Mr. Ulrich's experiences have allowed him to develop an expertise in visual inspecting and evaluating existing facilities. He has also attended numerous seminars concerning roof systems and practical building design, which aid in the process. These investigations and evaluations range from simple review of a specific building item to a detailed review and evaluation of the entire facility.
