Nova Group, Inc. was asked to participate in the preparation of designs to add a 10 bed unit to this existing 58 bed rehabilitation hospital. This stand alone unit contains nurse station, soiled and clean utility, medication room, nourishment station, office, dining/activity room, and therapy gym in addition to 10 private patient rooms.

The unique ownership structure of the project included Duke Realty as the property owner, Centerre Health Care as the building owner and St. John’s Mercy Health Care as the operator of the facility. All parties actively participated in the project delivery.

In addition to Architectural Design, services provided by Nova Group, Inc. also included coordinating the review and approval of the design by the State of Missouri's Department of Health, local municipality, and fire protection district and obtaining zoning approval by the local municipality.
